“UPDATE: 25/03/2025 - Due to multiple staff changes, the service is taking a nose dive, and a recent sharp price increase means its not even good value anymore. Will think twice before visiting again. Gets very busy, be we really enjoy the breakfasts, receive food fast after ordering, never waited more that 10 mins.”

“You now have to order on big screens like in maccies, which is not so bad, table service is good and the staff as ever are lovely. My main complaint about Tesco café is the lack of natural light in the rear half of the cafe. To add to the relaxed ambience there is a huge CCTV camera mounted in the middle of the room.”

“Was curious regarding the partially negative reviews (mainly from older people) regarding the refurb and the switch to card only and self service. All I can say is wow, such a better atmosphere and layout to the previous setting. Staff seem busier than ever and helpful as always. Will definitely be coming more often since the re fit.”

“Not been here for a while! What an amazing change. Order your food from the menu point take a number disk and get a table. Had the small breakfast with poached egg and bf had fried bread and fried egg. Pot of tea does 2 cups per person. Food arrived quickly and lovely and hot. Lovely bright cafe and looks a lot better than before. Seems bigger because they removed the chilled cabinets and hot counter. Drinks had their own area of preparation from the food. Really choice of food and drinks.”
